Today and tomorrow, I am leading day retreats in Orange county, CA. In both days (Come Away spiritual leadership retreat today and “An Unhurried Day with Jesus” on Saturday), the heart of the day will be a few hours of personal time alone with God in solitude and silence. I’ve been practicing this kind of a day with God for twenty years this January. This has been the most life-giving and transformative practices in my journey with Christ.
